Biomarker discovery and validation are critical for advancing personalised medicine and improving therapeutic outcomes. However, the complexity of high-throughput assays and image-based analyses presents significant challenges in extracting meaningful insights efficiently.

This webinar, hosted by DDW and supported by Danaher Life Sciences, explores how advanced platforms such as Genedata Profiler software and Leica Microsystems Aivia AI-powered image analysis software can transform biomarker studies, enabling users to overcome traditional bottlenecks, reduce time to insight, and enhance the overall efficiency of biomarker research.

You will learn how to:
  • Explore strategies to streamline biomarker discovery using Genedata Profiler software, by centralising your experimental results, standardising data processing, and choosing from a range of statistical analyses
  • Review immuno-oncology examples from leading biopharma companies
  • Use AI to segment cells quickly and accurately, spending less time on analysis and more time on biology
  • Apply expertise or automation to classify cells into phenotypes and interactively explore them in their spatial context

    About the Speakers:
  • Sebastien Ribrioux, PhD, Scientific Account Manager at Genedata, is a data scientist with extensive experience in biomarker and gene target discovery. He has worked on osteoporosis drug targets at Novartis, proteomics-based diabetes diagnostics with Roche and ETH Zurich, and, most recently, has focused on transcriptomic biomarker discovery in oncology.
  • Quyen Tran, PhD, formerly Global Business Excellence Manager – Data & Analysis at Leica Microsystems, received her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she examined stem cell behaviour in 3D protein-based constructs fabricated using multiphoton microscopy.
